Neglecting the warning signs, like noise from your system & cold spots on radiators will (from our past experience) cause damage to your heating system, and in some cases we’ve seen boilers damaged beyond repair! This can end up costing you upwards of £2000 to replace. Stop all of this happening with a MagnaClean hot flush.
By removing the sludge that has built up in your boiler, radiators and pipework over many years, it allows the water inside to circulate much easier. This requires less gas and electricity because of the increase in the efficiency of your heating system.
Your central heating system is made up mostly from copper, brass & steel. As the water flows around the system it comes into contact with these metals, and very slowly, over many years, the metals begin to wear away. This leaves the metallic debris floating around your system. This will eventually block the system and / or cause expensive damage to your boiler.
We’ll connect your central heating system to our flushing apparatus, which will work in conjunction with your boiler to provide a ‘hot’ flushing of the system using chemical cleaners. We will work on one radiator at a time, moving around your home, until we’re confident we’ve removed as much of the sludge (known as magnetite) as we possibly can.
Below are some thermal imaging pictures taken of a radiator before and after a MagnaCleanse flush. You can see that the heat is more evenly spread after the flush, and the temperature is higher – even though no changes to the thermostat were made.
Almost, except a MagnaClean hot flush puts less stress on your heating system pipework. A powerflush involves pumping water around your system at high pressure. This can lead to damage to the pipework. A Magnacleanse hot flush is far kinder to your system, but just as effective, and a whole lot cheaper than a power flush.
No. Unfortunately.
